Welcome to KidsCraft! These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and KidsCraft ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the KidsCraft mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using KidsCraft, you agree to:

- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Accept our Privacy Policy
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use KidsCraft.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Age Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- KidsCraft is designed for parents, guardians, and caregivers
- Children under 13 may not create accounts or use the Service independently
- You are responsible for supervising children's use of activities generated by KidsCraft
2.2 Parental Responsibility
By using KidsCraft, you represent that:
- You are the parent or legal guardian of any children for whom you create profiles
- You have the authority to provide children's information (names, ages, interests)
- You accept full responsibility for children's participation in KidsCraft activities
3. Account Registration
3.1 Creating an Account
To access full features, you may create an account by providing a valid email address, a secure password, and your name. Alternatively, you may sign in with Apple or Google.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Not sharing your account with others
3.3 Guest Accounts
You may use KidsCraft as a guest with limited features:
- Access to 3 activities before requiring account creation or premium upgrade
- Data may be lost if the app is uninstalled
- No cloud sync or cross-device access
4. Description of Service
KidsCraft provides AI-powered activity generation tools for parents and caregivers, including:
4.1 Activity Modules
- Craft Coach: Generate craft activities based on available materials
- Kitchen Science Mini Labs: Create science experiments using household ingredients
- Out and About: Discover place-based educational activities for parks, stores, waiting rooms, restaurants, travel, and other everyday settings
4.2 Kid Profiles
- Create profiles for multiple children
- Customize age, interests, and preferences
- Track activity history and favorites
4.3 AI-Generated Content
Activities are generated using artificial intelligence (OpenAI). While we strive for accuracy and safety:
- Content may not always be perfect or suitable
- You must review all activities before attempting them with children
- We are not liable for injuries or damages resulting from activities
5. Acceptable Use
5.1 You May:
- Use KidsCraft for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Create profiles for your own children
- Generate activities for personal use
- Share individual activities with friends and family
5.2 You May NOT:
- Use KidsCraft for commercial purposes without permission
- Resell, redistribute, or republish KidsCraft content
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Use the Service in a way that harms children or violates their privacy
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Access another user's account without permission
6. Supervision and Safety
CRITICAL SAFETY NOTICE: KidsCraft provides activity ideas, but YOU are responsible for children's safety.
6.1 Parental Supervision Required
You agree to:
- Review all activities before attempting them with children
- Supervise children during all activities, especially those involving sharp objects, heat sources, chemicals or food ingredients (allergies), small parts (choking hazards), or outdoor activities
- Assess age-appropriateness for your specific child
- Use your judgment to modify or skip activities as needed
6.2 Disclaimers
- Activities are AI-generated and may contain errors
- We do not verify the safety or appropriateness of every activity
- Always check for allergies before using food ingredients
- Ensure proper ventilation, protective gear, and safety measures
- Consult professionals for activities beyond your expertise
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Content
KidsCraft and all related content are owned by us or our licensors, including app design, interface, functionality, the KidsCraft name, logo, branding, our chameleon mascot, and our software code. These are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of child profile information you provide, materials, ingredients, place-type inputs, and ratings, feedback, and favorites.
By using KidsCraft, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content to provide the Service, generate activities based on your inputs, and analyze usage patterns to improve KidsCraft (anonymized data only).
7.3 AI-Generated Activities
Activities generated by AI are provided "as-is" for your personal use. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes and share them informally. You may not publish, sell, or redistribute them commercially.
8. Premium Features and Payments
8.1 Free Tier
Users can create a free account to try 3 activities before upgrading. You will not be charged, and no card is required for the free activities. Basic activity generation and limited features are included during this free access.
8.2 Premium Subscription
Premium users receive unlimited activity generation, advanced features and customization, priority support, and an ad-free experience.
8.3 Billing and Cancellation
- Charges are processed through the App Store (Apple) or Play Store (Google)
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
- Cancel anytime in your device's subscription settings
- Refunds are subject to App Store/Play Store policies
- No refunds for partial months or unused services
9. Termination
9.1 Your Right to Terminate
You may terminate your account at any time. See our account deletion guide for step-by-step instructions.
9.2 Our Right to Terminate
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, abuse or misuse the Service, or harm other users or the Service. We will provide notice when possible, but may terminate immediately for serious violations.
10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
10.1 "AS-IS" Service
KidsCraft is provided "AS-IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, including no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service, accuracy, reliability, completeness, safety, or appropriateness; no warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
10.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We are NOT liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from KidsCraft activities
- We are NOT liable for data loss, service interruptions, or technical issues
- We are NOT liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or $100 if no payment)
10.3 Assumption of Risk
By using KidsCraft, you acknowledge that all activities involve some level of risk, you are solely responsible for children's safety, you assume all risks associated with activities, and you will not hold us liable for accidents, injuries, or damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KidsCraft, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, injuries or damages from activities, or your violation of any laws or third-party rights.
12. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. Key highlights: we do not sell your data, we comply with COPPA, you can delete your data at any time, and we use encryption and security best practices.
13. Third-Party Services
KidsCraft uses third-party services: Supabase (data storage and authentication), OpenAI (AI-powered activity generation), and Apple/Google Sign-In (optional authentication methods). These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their content.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date, notify you via email for significant changes, and display an in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using KidsCraft and delete your account.
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a legal claim, please contact us at support@kidscraft.app to resolve the issue informally. We will work in good faith to address your concerns.
15.2 Arbitration Agreement
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you agree to resolve it through binding arbitration rather than court litigation, except for small claims court disputes (under $10,000), intellectual property disputes, and claims that cannot be arbitrated under applicable law.
Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
15.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action or collective action.
15.4 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of [Your State], without regard to conflict of law provisions.
16. General Provisions
